May from the Pastor

We give thanks to God always for you all, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
I am so thankful to the Lord for the time we have gotten to spend together these last four years. You have all been such a tremendous blessing to me and to my family. Your pray-ers and your love for us have been received and are much appreciated. Every prayer, every hug, every conversation has been a treasure to us. One of this church’s greatest strengths is your prayers and your love, thank you for sharing that with me.
I have seen your love for me and your love for the Word of God and I want to encour-age you that in all the ups and downs of your lives, those two anchors will help you hold fast through any storm. Please continue to pray for us as we prepare to move to the next place that God has for us. I am counting on you to push forward in ministry together and as you do remember these few things:
 Keep the Lord Jesus as the center of all you say and all you do and remember we are am-bassadors and servants of His Kingdom every moment of our day.
 Make Christ-like love your aim.
 Pray for your future pastor as he/she will need you to be their partners in ministry through your prayers and your love, just as I have.
 Pray BIG prayers, God’s hand is not shortened and His vision is bigger than we can imag-ine; our prayers need to match God’s vision. This is a praying church – Pray BIG!
 Reach out to the lost and the broken hearted with the good news you carry within you.
 Volunteer for VBS and any other events that are reaching out to share God with others.
 Invite your friends and loved ones to worship with you.
 Know that I am praying for you all during this transition and I know Our Father is faith-ful.
 Keep moving forward in the Kingdom, God desires His glory to fill the earth and he has called you to that amazing and powerful calling.
Now, May the Lord Jesus, King of the everlasting Kingdom in whom we strive together for His glory, grant you Peace. May he strengthen your Faith daily, building you up in a secure and certain Hope of His glory, and ground you and grow you in abundant Love. Amen
